Elmville Unit, Monkton Hall

Elmville Short Break Service forms part of the Learning Disability Service and provides Short break health care provision for adults with learning disabilities whom also have associated health needs. 

Elmville is situated within the grounds of Monkton Hall along with other learning disability services such as Psychiatry, Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.   

The service is currently undergoing a review led by South Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group (now the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board).
