Dr Chris Phillips

Dr Phillips is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine.

He treats people with urgent or life-threatening problems. He has been a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at STSFT since 2014.

His interests involve clinical governance and patient safety. This means making sure patients receive safe, high-quality care. He has been STSFT's Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) Clinical Lead since 2023.

He has a senior educator role with Newcastle University and is an instructor on the national Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support courses.
