Prof Scott Wilkes, Education - University of Sunderland Medical School
Scott is Head of the School of Medicine, Professor of General Practice and Primary Care at University of Sunderland and a part-time GP in North Tyneside.
Scott has a wide range of experience on research and education boards. He has also worked as a non‑executive director for several organisations. Scott is a member of the Society for Academic Primary Care and has given BMJ masterclass lectures across the UK.
His research focuses on treating fertility and thyroid conditions in general practice, as well as using new technology during patient appointments.
