South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is committed to openness and transparency, and conducts as much of its business as possible in a session that members of the public are normally welcome to attend and observe.
We have started to once again hold meetings in public, however reserve the right to revert back to virtual meetings should the number of COVID-19 cases in the community increase again. Please check the individual meeting date for venue details. Members of the public are able to observe the Council of Governor meetings. If you wish to do so, please email joannewilliamson3@nhs.net by 5 pm on the Thursday before the meeting so we can ensure capacity has not been exceeded and we can contact you should arrangements chance regarding meeting dates of times.
Annual Members’ Meeting
2022/23 Financial Year
The Annual Members’ Meeting, at which the Annual Report and Accounts for South Tyneside and City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trusts will be presented, will be held on Tuesday 26 September 2023 from 3pm to 5pm, at the George Washington Hotel, Stone Cellar Road, Washington.

2021/22 Financial Year
The Annual Members’ Meeting, at which the Annual Report and Accounts for South Tyneside and City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Foundation Trusts were presented, was held on Tuesday 27 September 2022 from 3pm to 5pm, at the Clarion Hotel, Boldon.

Due to the the ongoing prevalence of COVID-19 within our communities, the Trust's Annual Members' Meeting/Annual General Meeting was held virtually on Tuesday, 28 September 2021.
