Please make cheques payable to "STS NHSFT CHRT FND" which is short for South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Funds.
Mark on the back of the cheque with the service or ward you wish the donation to go to, every ward/service has at least one charitable fund attached to it which helps to fund improvements to that service/ward. If you are wishing your donation to go into the general funds for either charity please mark the check "general funds" on the back, these funds are used to support activities across the whole hospital such as giving all patients on wards on Christmas morning a present.
If you can please also include a note outlining why you are giving a donation, if its in memory of a loved one, or in gratitude for care given to yourself or someone else. We will pass this information on to the relevant service/ward.
