It can be easy to forget that we all pay for the NHS. That’s because its free to use for everyone who needs it. It doesn’t matter who you are, what your background is, or whether you have lots of money or not. The NHS is here for you.
This is one of the things that makes us all so proud of our NHS. But it’s also why we all must play a part in its future success. We must make sure we spend our budgets in the best way. This is so we get the best value for our patients in every pound we spend.
Across the Trust we are always looking at where we can improve and be more efficient. One of our key goals is to make sure we focus on the best value for money in every penny we spend. This year we need to look even closer at this and we are counting on you to help us.
How can I help?
This year we need a laser sharp focus on how and where we can save time and money. We know there will be lots of small changes we can make and these will add up to a really big impact. Some ideas may be quicker to put in place than others. Other things may take us longer to work through.
We want to hear from staff across all parts of the Trust. No idea is too great or small. We really want to hear everything you have to say about how we can improve. We will listen to your feedback and support you to make changes. Over the coming months, we will also ask our patients and carers for their ideas for change too.
