The use of mobile phones in our hospitals is allowed, however we do ask that you are mindful of others when using them.
We ask that you respect the privacy of other patients, visitors and staff when using your phone and do not take photos, videos or recordings unless you have explicit permission to do so. This also includes people who may be in the background of the photo/video.
The wellbeing of our patients is very important to us, so we also ask that your phone is set to silent or vibrate and where possible keep phone conversations relatively short and quiet.
In addition, your phone should not to be charged in the ward/department and under no circumstances must any equipment be unplugged to facilitate charging.
