Staff Validation Survey

Thank you!.jpgA huge thank you to all of our registered nurses and midwives who completed the Pathway to Excellence survey. The survey is now closed. The last progress report we received on Friday 6th December from ANCC showed a 71.26% response rate against a target of 60%. That's 2318 responses, amazing!

As the survey did not close until midnight last night (10th December), and the responses have not yet been checked for duplication, we know that these are not the final figures but it's looking very promising!

We'd like to thank all of the pathway advocates, managers and teams who encouraged everyone to take part, without you this would not have been possible.

We now await the result from ANCC who will analyse the responses over the coming weeks.

To receive the accreditation, as well as achieving a 60% response rate, we must have achieved:

  • 50% 'strongly agree' or 'agree' responses to all 28 questions

  • 75% 'strongly agree' or 'agree' responses to at least 21 questions

The ANCC review process will take approximately 8 weeks, perhaps a little longer due to Christmas. As soon as we receive our results we will let you know.

In the meantime, we hope you all manage to find some time to rest and spend quality time with those close to you over the festive period. Thank you again!
