Alexander’s Cafes
Our cafés can be found in our main entrance and in the reception area of our outpatients department. We provide a range of speciality coffee, tea and a range of cold drinks. We also sell a range of sandwiches made on site, fruit and snacks.
Opening times:
Main entrance: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 6:15pm
Saturday and Sunday 11:30am - 4:00pm.
Alexander’s Restaurant
Our restaurant is on the ground floor and has seating for up to 160. We offer a full range of hot and cold meals for patients, visitors and staff and are open 365 days a year.
We serve a wide choice of hot and cold meals, including a full breakfast menu, up to ten choices of hot lunch and dinner choices plus soup, sandwiches and salads.

Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:15pm
Saturday and Sunday 7.45am - 11.30pm
Sunderland Royal Hospital
We have a number of cafes, shops and restaurants across the site, which serves hot and cold food, drinks and snacks.
A Floor Restaurant
Our restaurant is open to all staff and visitors and offers a wide range of hot and cold meals, sandwiches, snacks, confectionary and beverages.

The Cafe offers a wide range of hot and cold snacks, sandwiches, confectionary and beverages.

RVS Vending Service, B Floor next to Main Reception
This Service offers a range of hot and cold snacks, sandwiches, and beverages 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
RVS Shop, B Floor next to Main Reception
This shop offers a range of sandwiches, snacks, confectionary, drinks, cards, novels and newspapers.
