Verbal or physical abuse towards our staff will not be tolerated. DON’T do it.
Our staff are here to care for you and your loved ones. They deserve to feel safe and respected when they come to work.
We DON’T accept any form of abuse towards our staff, this includes:
- Verbal abuse: shouting, swearing, insults, threats, racism and discriminatory language.
- Physical abuse: pushing, hitting, spitting, or any form of violence.
- Aggressive behaviour: intimidation, harassment, or refusing to follow safety instructions.
We take the safety and wellbeing of our staff seriously.
If you abuse our staff, you will face consequences. This could include:
- Immediate removal from our hospitals.
- Withdrawal of treatment (except in life-threatening situations).
- Formal warning or banning from hospital sites and services.
- Police involvement and potential criminal prosecution.
Respect our people. Protect our care. DON'T abuse our staff.
