FESTIVE FOOD VANS
From Monday 2nd December, there will be some small, local food vendors visiting some of our sites. This is so you can enjoy some festive street food and some delicious warm drinks and treats! The vans are open for all staff, patients and visitors to purchase from.
The timetable is below:
Click here to view the menu for the street food van. The street food van will be in the short-stay parking bays outstide Kayll Road main entrance at SRH, and where the old phramacy building has just been demolished opposite Ingham Wing main entrance at STDH.
The coffee van will be in the car parks of the locations listed above, serving a variety of different coffees, teas, hot chocolates and other hot and cold drinks, as well as baked goods too.
Can managers please make teams aware who do not have regular access to emails/Trust Comms.
Important information - please read:
- Staff must pay for their own food and drinks.
- As much as we'd absolutely love to go to every single site, it's just not possible. This is an initial trial for this year - it's the first time we've ever done anything like this, so we need to start small with a few sites, and if it works, we will look to expand for next year. By all means, if you're able to visit a nearby site where a van is scheduled to be at, then please do.
- Dates/locations may be subject to change from vendors.
- Events are in partnership with small, local businesses so it needs to be worth their while in terms of numbers of people they are serving and passing trade.
- Finally, these events are organised and delivered by colleagues in the Trust who work hard and do the best they can with the best interests of all of #TeamSTSFT at heart. So with our 'Call it Out' campaign, and new staff Facebook group rules in mind, please do consider this before passing comment and remember to #BeRespectful.
