Dr Majd Abu-Harb has completed his last Paediatric Cardiology Clinic and has retired from Paediatrics.
He has been a Consultant Neonatologist and Paediatric Cardiologist for 27 years and was the founder of Sunderland Royal Hospital’s Paediatric and Neonatal Cardiac Service.
He was also Clinical Neonatal Lead for over a decade.
He will continue in his role as Cardiac Foetal Medicine Lead for our Trust and will also continue to provide Foetal Cardiac services in the region.
He is pictured with receptionist Liz Cairns, Ward Manager Richard Allsop and Healthcare Assistants Carole Davison and Lynne Lister.
His amazing cake was made by Healthcare Assistant Rachel Embleton.
