Patients, visitors and staff will see some minor distuption to a small area of car parking later this week.
This will take place at South Tyneside District Hospital at the rear of the Integrated Diagnostic Centre.
It will happen between 8am on Thursday, September 26, and Monday, September 30.
The area marked in red on the drawing indicates which area will be unavailable during this time.
Restricted access is required to undergo installation of new heating pipework which will run between Harton Wing and Edyth Brown House.
