Patients, visitors and staff are asked to take note of forthcoming roadworks close to South Tyneside District Hospital.
Northumbrian Roads will be carrying out the work on the following dates and times on John Reid Road.
This means this way in and out of the hospital site will not be available during these periods.
The closures will allow the company to carry out essential maintenance ahead of the AJ Bell Great North Run on Sunday, September 8.
They will take place from 8pm to 6am on:
- Friday, August 9
- Monday, August 12
- Tuesday, August 13
- Wednesday, August 14
People are asked to use the entrance and exit gates to Harton Lane during these hours.
