One of our midwives has been shortlisted for an award in recognition of her work.
Jamie Renilson works as our a Bereavement Midwife within our Obstetrics and Maternity team.
She is among those shortlisted in the Unsung Hero category of this year's Best of South Tyneside Awards.
This is run by the Shields Gazette and welcomes nominations from readers.
Jamie has been put forward by a patient and a colleague.
The ceremony will be held tomorrow, Thursday, June 20.
