Care Bags

We are currently trialling a project. We are offering care bags to patients who have a learning disability or Autism. Patients will be given a care bag when they come into hospital. The care bags have been developed by people who have lived experience of a learning disability or Autism.

The care bags contain items designed to support people when they are in hospital:

  • Ear defenders.
  • Eye mask.
  • Sensory fiddle items.
  • Colouring book.

The care bags also contain other items for providing distraction and engagement.
