Who we are:

The team is made up of:

  • Psychiatrists
  • Psychologists
  • Speech and language therapists

We work with people in their homes and in the community. We support autistic adults and adults with a learning disability to be as independent as possible.

  • Eating and drinking (dysphagia)
  • Mobility
  • Understanding information
  • Getting your point across
  • Medication
  • Feelings and mental health
  • Staying healthy
  • Sexual health
  • Relationships
  • Being independent, e.g. life skills, travelling or budgeting
  • Problems with sounds, smells, lights and textures, often called “sensory needs” or “sensory problems”

The core hours of the service are 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The entrance to Monkton Hall is via Campbell Park Road. The car park is on the left as you turn in. The entrance is on the right as you enter the car park. Press the doorbell next to the door and wait for a response.
