The Learning Disability Service provides a wide range of services across South Tyneside.The service provides specialist multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention to individuals aged 18 and over with learning disabilities with complex health care needs. The team also provides advice and support to the individual, their carer(s) and other professionals.
The Acute Liaison Service for people with learning disabilities provides a range of interventions for people with a learning disability. The Acute Liaison Service aims to support individuals with Learning Disabilities to access mainstream health services.
