Our Learning Disability Service across South Tyneside and Sunderland provides a wide range of services. The service provides specialist multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention to individuals aged 18 and over with learning disabilities with complex health care needs. The team also provides advice and support to the individual, their carer(s) and other professionals.
Coming into hospital can be a worrying experience for those with a learning disability and or autism.
