Outpatient appointments are provided at Sunderland Royal Hospital, Chester Wing Outpatients, C level.
The department also operates outpatient clinics at other sites in and around Sunderland, as well as in the community and some home visits.

The National Neurological Patient Experience Survey
#MyNeuroSurvey: share your experiences and help improve services
The neurology department at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is taking part in the National Neurological Patient Experience Survey.
This survey provides an opportunity to better understand how neurology services support patients and carers both locally and nationally.
If you need help to take part in the patient survey, you can ask a family member or friend to help you.
There are also surveys for carers to complete.
You may be asked to do the survey when you attend a neurology outpatient clinic appointment at the Trust.
You do not have to take part if you do not wish to do so, but we would like to encourage as many people as possible to do so.
