These include tests and treatments.
Liver and lung biopsies, lumbar punctures, blood transfusions, infusions and vascular procedures are among those it carries out.

The Investigation and Intervention Unit is on B Floor at Sunderland Royal Hospital.
Step-free access is available via the main entrance facing Kayll Road and Rehabilitation Entrance 8.
