'Engaged Leaders Programme'
The ‘Engaged Leaders Programme’ focuses on leadership. True leadership is not about position or job title; it is about the influence each of us hold and the impact we have on our colleagues and environments that surround each of us every day, both at work and in our personal lives.
The new programme consists of 4 learning steps:
Step 1 - Interactive e-learning:
This interactive e-learning will provide you with the power to make your own choices from the various interactive options available. Using images, videos and interactive activities will help to reinforce your learning experience.
Email: stsft.LeadershipCourses@nhs.net with your selected e-learning module request. You will receive a confirmation email and a work book to support your e-learning module.
Step 2 - Work book:
The work book will support the interactive e-learning and will give you an opportunity to make notes as you progress through the module. The work book will contain questions and scenarios to enable you to apply your own perspective to the learning and act as a reflection tool.
Step 3 - Evaluation:
A ‘Slido’ evaluation form has been embedded into each e-learning module. You will be required to complete the evaluation as part of the ‘Engaged Leaders Programme’.
Email stsft.LeadershipCourses@nhs.net on completion of the e-learning module, workbook and evaluation. You will be given the option of attending a professional discussion.
Step 4 - Professional Discussion (Optional):
The professional discussion is a planned, in-depth facilitated conversation between you and other delegates. It is an effective way to consolidate your learning and will provide you with the opportunity to share your experiences, learn and interact with others'.
If this takes place on MS Teams, it is important that you have a working camera and microphone, or you will not be able to effectively partake in the discussion.
It is important that you bring your completed workbook to the professional discussion.
To receive a certificate of completion all 4 steps of the module must be completed; e-Learning, Work book, Evaluation and the Professional Discussion.
The 6 Leadership Modules are:
Module 1: Establishing the Basics of Leadership
Module 2: Discovering Self as a Leader
Module 3: Effective Communication and Managing Conflict
Module 4: Successfully Leading a Team
Module 5: Leading Change & Embedding Resilience
Module 6: Understanding Bias & Developing Emotional Intelligence
