Our Care of the Elderly service is part of the Directorate of Rehabilitation and Elderly Medicine and provides an extensive range of services such as:
Acute elderly medicine, frailty, chronic heart failure, Parkinson’s Disease, delirium and dementia care (including Outreach Practitioners) and ortho-geriatric service. The department also provides a Community Geriatric service which provides a responsive service to patients to avoid unnecessary attendance at the Emergency Department.
