Renal Ward (B28)
Ward B28 at Sunderland Royal Hospital is a 40-bedded ward dedicated to patients requiring renal attention and care.
Hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and plasma exchange are some of the treatments provided by the ward, apart from the 24-hour nursing and medical care that the patients get.
The ward consists of 12 side rooms and 7 bays. All of which are functional on a daily basis except under special circumstances.
Visiting times to this ward are 15:00 - 16:00 and 18:30 - 19:30. Visitors are more than welcome to see patients two at a time.
