About Us
Sunderland Eye Infirmary provides a whole range of ophthalmic services and is also a sub-regional centre, servicing the population of the North East of England seeing in the region of 100,000 attendances every year.
The Haygarth Ward has 18 adult beds. It also has four for children.
It provides care for planned and emergency operations.
The Haygarth Clinic comprises of oculoplastic and general clinics.
It also holds clinics for the Artificial Eye Service every Friday.

Finding Us
The haygarth ward is located within Sunderland Eye Infirmary.
Booking in is done at OPD B reception and is accessed by the main entrance to the hospital.
